So I actually liked the first one. I thought it was cute and funny. However, I don't think this sequel should have been made. The premise just seems ridiculous, but I'm going to watch this anyways to see if it's worth t for the rest of the crowd. It does have a huge and excellent cast though so that gives me a little hope. I think it's odd that most of the planes from the first movie didn't even show up for this one. The characters are interesting enough. I do think the world of cars and planes is becoming kind of it's own cliche though. It's the same basic concept for each movie. The main character is always a bit of a failure who needs to train for something under another character who doesn't have much respect for the said main character. Also the character who trains is always a grumpy older vehicle who has been through rough times. I mean there isn't much originality, but there are some interesting little scenes here and there. I like the random pop culture references that I'm pretty sure kids watching this wouldn't get. It is a really short movie that's for sure. There is a little extra scene if you stay through the credits. It wasn't a very eventful watch. It was honestly kind of boring it wasn't awful it just isn't attention grabbing.
