Review of Chef

Jon Favreau is a pretty good director and actor. The acting is great and the story is intriguing. What's not to like about a cooking film. Throughout the entire film my mouth was salivating or my tummy was rumbling. It just made me very hungry seeing such delicious looking food. This was emotionally uplifting especially after a long, hard, and frustrating day. It's definitely targeted to both people who like food and father/son audiences. The characters are enticing and fun to watch. There are some cool little cameos that show up unexpectedly. The ending was sweet and cute. Some of it I felt was a little unresolved, but I loved this.
