Review of School Dance

I haven't heard anything good about this. I do see a lot of actors I enjoy and some I haven't seen in awhile. It has a more grown up Bobb'e Thompson. It's directed by Nick Cannon so I am not expecting much from that, but you never know. Amber Rose is in this as well playing a teenager really? Some of the jokes are just ridiculous, while I did find some others to be funny. It seems like a copy of House Party or even the more recent We The Party. There is nothing fantastic or even really defining about this movie. All it has are some attractive girls and very few funny scenes involving Katt Williams and Kevin Hart. They tried way too hard to make this funny and ended up coming short. Luenell's character was a complete waste of time. The break of the fourth wall at the end wasn't funny except that they mentioned something about a movie theater. There is no way this would be in theaters. The Supersize scene during the credits was a little funny though. Honestly with all the talent in this I was surprised by how awful it was. Shame on them for making this and shame on me for watching it.
