A great animated movie

There is a fair chance that you might be wondering why I gave this movie such a high rating but the reason is actually pretty simple. Indeed, when I was a kid, I used to watch it very often (at the time, we didn’t have a VHS device but my aunt and uncle had one and every single time we would visit them, I would watch this flick). The amazing thing is that, even when I re-watch it today, I still believe it is one of the best animated movies ever made. Indeed, even though it is already 40 years, the animation is still pretty good but above all, the story is just so damned entertaining and there are many many hilarious moments through this amazing adventure. In my opinion, it stands far above most (all?) of the childish stuff produced by Disney through the years and I'm amazed it doesn’t get more credit than that. I don’t know, maybe it has to do with the fact that every kids in France as grown up with Lucky Luke and, therefore, it might be difficult to connect with this flick if you don’t have this culture baggage. Anyway, to conclude, I think it is an amazing flick and it is definitely worth a look, especially if you are interested in animated features.
