An interesting movie

To be honest, I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but since there was a decent cast involved, I thought I might as well check out. Eventually, like all the movies directed by Don Roos (for some reasons, I have actually seen all the movies he has directed), the whole thing was rather flawed but it still definitely had some potential. Indeed, there were many things I actually enjoyed about this flick. For example, I never forgot how it started and I really enjoyed this introduction. Basically, you get to see someone running in the street but you have absolutely no clue what's going on which was, in my opinion, a really fascinating approach. Eventually,  the whole thing was rather well directed and the actors were all pretty good (Lisa Kudrow, Steve Coogan, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Laura Dern) but, unfortunately, I’m afraid there were just too many story lines and some of them didn’t really work, I’m afraid. At the end of the day, I think this feature was a step up for Don Roos after the really underwhelming ‘Bounce’but it was still far from being his best movie. Anyway, to conclude, in spites of its flaws, this movie was not bad at all and I think it is definitely worth a look, especially if you like the genre.
