So bad....

How the hell did I actually ended up watching this flick?!? Indeed, I seriously despised the first installment and even though it was a massive success in France, I thought it was easily one of the most overrated movies ever produced so I should probably have avoided this sequel. The whole story was, in fact, that I was able to buy the 1st three movies on DVD and they were just 1 euro for each so I thought I might give this franchise a second chance after all. Well, the 2nd time around, I still hated it the first installment and this sequel was not really better or worse, I'm afraid. The worst thing about this flick, in my opinion, was how Marion Cotillard, probably the best French actress of the last decade, was completely wasted here. Indeed, she was probably the only redeeming feature in this whole franchise and, here,  she was basically stuck at home waiting the whole freaking day that the lead character would come back. I mean, seriously?!? That's the best thing they could come up with for her? Anyway, after all these years, I still cannot understand how these movies got so popular in France. It really blows my mind. To conclude, in my opinion,  it is in fact some real garbage and you should definitely avoid it.
