Icon is still ILL.

2 cds later, Despised Icon is making the Illist deathcore out there. I looked up their "In The Arms of Perdition" music video and decided I needed to get into this band from Montreal. With two vocalists of terror on the mic, the vocals are extreme! The mother of all pig-squeals, if you will. The lyrics are pretty cool, dealing with inner struggles and you want to make sure you don't mess with their friends yo! There's some positive lyrics, for instance:
"I failed you once again/yet you still hold my hand."
TIOMM is the first album with guitarist Al Glassman. He puts out some of the most technical riffage and nasty breakdowns, I have ever listened to.
Alex Pellitier, drummer, kills it on every track especially the self titled one. The fills catch you off guard and most dare not try to attempt or re-create haha.

In my opinion, this is there best work. I highly recommend this album to drummers and avid hardcore music fans. This is some of the best stuff to mosh to.
