This is another of those well reviewed but not watched by the public movies. I read the series of books that the movie is based on and was looking forward to see what they would do with the story. Is it just like the book? No. Was it fun to watch? YES
In the movie Will Stanton turns 14 and finds out he has powers to save the Light side of Earth. The Dark powers are growing and want to take over. He has to find a series of signs to save Earth. He can travel through time and needs to do so to get all the signs.
I thought the characters were well acted out in the movie and that the special effects were well done. There is a lot of adventure and excitement along the way. Some of the scenes may to a little scary for preschool kids. The rest of the family should enjoy the movie without any problems. This is a movie that is worth the price of admission. Hope you get a chance to enjoy it.
