Has scenes of violence but still very good

'Of Mice and Men' has scenes of violence but is still very good, it's based on John Steinbeck's novel; the main characters are George Milton (Gary Sinise) and mentally disabled Lennie Small (John Malkovich). They are both farm workers that travel together and dream of one day owning their own land. With their work passes, the two end up on Tyler Ranch. Milton finds a property for sale, and calculates that they can buy the land at the end of the month with Candy (Ray Walston)'s help.

But 'Of Mice and Men' has some scenes of violence including violent deaths; when Curley (Casey Siemaszko) hits Lennie for laughing (unintentionally) at Curley being mocked, Lennie fights back and crushes Curley's hand, if you don't want any more then I'll stop talking about it!

It's not as good as 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape' and John Malkovich is no Leonardo DiCaprio but is still great, Gary Sinise is very good in the lead role and the rest of the cast are still very good (Ray Walston, Casey Siemaszko, Sherilyn Fenn, John Terry)
