Review of Supernatural

This is one of my all time favorite shows. It is chock-full of cool pop culture references, legendary folklore, and interesting new creatures specifically made for the show. My only problem with the show is Jared Padalecki. I really don't enjoy him as he seems a bit amateur to me. Jensen Ackles however is amazing and hilarious. He also shows a lot of emotions throughout the series while also trying to act like the tougher big brother. I sure wish Jeffrey Dean Morgan would return to the show. Misha Collins is amazing and gives a spark to Castiel that is just amazing. Long live Castiel and his awkward moments trying to learn how to do new things. Jim Beaver as Bobby Singer is also one of my favorites as he was a good character although he could've had more depth in my opinion. He was a much necessary father figure. Mark Sheppard as Crowley is badass. He is one of the shows longest running villains and he is pretty funny as well. I don't know why he won't do it. Is it because of an ego and that he is becoming bigger in Hollywood? I don't think he is so big he can't make a special guest appearance or a few. This show also has numerous badass guest appearances such as James Marsters (Buffy & Angel), Amanda Tapping (Stargate: Atlantis/SG-1), Lauren Cohan (who now has it easier fighting zombies rather than all the supernatural monsters in The Walking Dead), DJ Qualls, and Tahmoh Penikett (Battlestar Galactica) just to name a few. The concepts of the show are amazing and some of the standalone episodes are pretty cool. Even folklore monsters made specifically for other films can make appearances. They even poke fun at celebrities. They have made fun of Paris Hilton, Justin Bieber, and even Snooki is showing up in the next episode! Also when a show lasts 9 seasons, has an anime spin-off, a mini-series spin-off for supporting characters, is signed for a tenth season, and has a spin-off series that is also being signed up for with an ensemble cast you know you have to check it out. I highly recommend this show as in my opinion there is never really a dull moment.
