Review of The Human Race

This is a really well made low budget horror film. It is kind of on a similar fashion to Battle Royale and such like films with a different take. None of the cast is really recognizable, but it doesn't matter. I think these unknowns did pretty well with what they had to give. I also thought that the deaf girl was absolutely beautiful. I am sure not everyone will get a kick out of this as much as I did, but I think it is quite the hidden gem. It has tons of truly interesting and unique characters. A few characters would be a mute woman and man, an amputee, a young girl who has suffered much loss, and old man, two Asian kids who don't speak English, a pregnant woman, a priest, a marathon guy, and many more. The plot is unusual and a crazy which makes it all the more fun. There is a good amount of blood and gore as well. Some scenes are a bit shocking and can be uneasy so I suggest if you have a weak stomach avoid this or there could be problems for you. I love the twist at the end and thought it was a little cheesy, but really cool. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I assure you it can be rather enjoyable if given the chance.
