I have liked McG's movies except I haven't seen We Are Marshall yet and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle could have been better. This does have a good cast including Kevin Costner, Connie Nielsen, Richard Sammel, Hailee Steinfeld, and Amber Heard. Hailee Steinfeld is really trying to make her name big with this, Ender's Game, and the remakes of True Grit as well as Romeo and Juliet. So Pa Kent who had faked his death in Man of Steel plays Jason Bourne older and much less agile than he used to be and we find out he has a daughter who just so happens to be Juliet who apparently is an immortal and has been involved in crazy western action from the 1800s and lives in a science fiction future where aliens have destroyed much of Earth. That probably sounds completely ridiculous, but hey that is much better than what I watched. This movie is kind of boring even with the fight scenes and the sometimes funny humor. Ah I just realized who Kevin Costner sounds like in this none other than Liam Neeson. Is he trying to sound like him or is it just how he is coming off on me? Soccer came before American Football therefor making what he said about American Football being real football was invalid. Also I am pretty sure nobody can learn to ride a bike THAT fast right? Anyways this was an interesting concept, but I don't think it was executed to its fullest. The ending was a bit cheesy. It wasn't bad though. I'd say a one time watch if you catch it on television.
