Ryan Philippe is a man who wakes up in a hospital and does not remember being married to Anna (Piper Perabo), nor the current date - 2002. Soon enough, he time-travels between 2000 and 2002. He will discover events in his life to help him recover his memory: his brother Peter (Robert Sean Leonard)'s accident in 2000, the car accident in 2002 and his love affair with a woman named Claire.

This movie wasn't bad at all. Philippe did some pretty decent acting. However, it is unfortunate Robert Sean Leonard didn't make much of an appearance, because he is excellent material. Piper Perabo as nurse Anna Hathaway overacts and her character is rather not credible.

For those viewers who enjoyed MEMENTO, this is similar. The viewer must follow closely the story, else he/she will be lost! The script gets confusing at times.

THIS IS NOT A SPOILER, but I have to mention the last scene, because it was totally useless. A specific time is mentioned at the end and everything becomes clear. My belief is that the script/movie should have ended there, as everything suddenly made sense, and *no further explanation was needed*. However, the film producers might have felt the need to add that extra scene (similar to the very first scene by the way), and to me, that just destroyed the whole movie. I felt as if they thought viewers were stupid and needed an explanation.

Hence my rating of 6/10.

(I would have given a 7 if not for that last, useless scene.)
