Good for a weekend rent.

If you're looking for a good Co-Op game to play with a buddy for a few hours, and already beat Gears of War, this one will do for a weekend. The game can be played through in a few hours, less than 6, so it's not an epic by any standard. Single player (while controlling the AI) is fun, but will get boring after a couple of sessions. As the name implies, it's meant as a co-op, and delivers for a short time. The weapons upgrade feature is great at the beginning, becoming obsolete by the end of the game. Armor upgrades are automatic, which deters from the system, and I still can't figure out the point of the masks. Unless you?re looking for achievements, they?re pointless. The gameplay is decent, although the enemy AI needs work. The melee attack is terrible, and you end up shooting the ground more often than hitting the enemy. Why they didn't make it another button, is beyond me.
