A minor classic - not really worth watching

When 'The Blue Lagoon' was released in 1980, it was a minor classic and a box office success, although when I saw it, I didn't really like it

The story (based on a novel) was pretty weak and boring. The sets, music and cinematography was pretty good but I just thought the movie was pretty bland and with very annoying performances by Brooke Shields and Christopher Atkins.

It was not as bad as the sequel which was a repeated story, changed ending (from the first movie) and really stupid

To conclude 'The Blue Lagoon' is a weak romance and not really worth watching at all
