When disco was all

They made this movie to usher in a new decade, with music that was about five minutes from being dead. There's a lot more irony there but it's best not to elaborate on out of good taste.
The movie is sort of about promoting the Village People group, but more about youthfull enthusiasm and ambition in people that where at least 30. Ms Perrine is v.nice and luscious and Bruce Jenner does a good job of being an ex athlete pretending to act. Steve Guttenburg is believable as the aspiring dj, perhaps a little under done. The music and performance of the VPs is as always good natured pseudo gay campy fun. This movie says 1980 full stop.
