While Adrian Edmondson's wife Jennifer Saunders was making the hugely successful "Absolutely Fabulous" series about life at the top, he, along with old Young Ones/Comedy Store companion Rik Mayall where making a series about life on the fringes of society. Both Edmondson's and Saunders characters where named Eddie and they where both defective and with psychotic mates, but with very different lives. This show took the violence of The Young Ones and the cheap toilet humour of it's follow up Filthy Rich and Catflap and dragged it all to the enth degree. Not for the squeemish or the easily offended, but it is outrageous irreverant fun.
