Getting a little long

Overall, this was a good book. I had a hard time putting it down at night. However, the story is getting a little long and the writing tired. I found myself wondering why I was even reading this book several times. There are several sections where the story sort of stops and the author starts relating already known information or just plain rambling.

I suppose it gets an 8 out of 10 just for the fact that it continues a good story that I really want to see concluded. It finally starts to focus on a problem introduced many books ago without going off on another tangent. I look forward to the next book; the book to conclude the series.
