The Face is what "America's Next Top Model" failed to be: a show about modeling in the high fashion industry. The show has actual supermodels on it (I'm sorry but Tyra is not a supermodel, at least not in High Fashion). The contestants are girls who I think actually have potential to make it in the High Fashion Industry. The challenges are much better connected to the world of high fashion than the types of collaborations they have on ANTM. For example, so far, "The Face" has had collaborations with W Magazine and Vogue Eyewear. This show also does not try to embarrass the contestants and make them all look like complete idiots, as ANTM does. Therefore, once the show is over, the majority of them won't jeopardize their career because of a tarnished image from appearing trashy on a reality TV show. So far, I feel like the show has really given me a look inside the rigors of making it in the modeling industry. And Coco, Naomi and Karolina give great insights from their own experiences and really relate to the girls.
I highly recommend this to all the Listal users here who love high fashion and high fashion models.
