A talented man in an average movie

Ferrell is such a brilliant talented actor and he plays in such average to awful movies...why?? He has an amazing talent to really dress into any ANY character...I understand why he plays in these films, he has to earn a living, but please people of the film industry, use him wisely! No more dude-films!It's just sad.
