Review of Helen of Troy

I'm posting the exact same review I did on The Odyssey (1997) and that is because these two tv-movies are the closest any director/screenwriter has ever been to the authentic ancient script. I dare to say that this is the only Iliad that is so close to the original epos written by Homer. As a Greek person and a Classics' teacher I recommend this film to anyone who is interested in Iliad. There are also sceens taken from other scripts depicting the exact atmosphere that Homer underlined. I just love it when classic works are not ruined in the name of Hollywood. An excellent cast and a respectful attitude towards the ancient script. Watch it!
