What do you get when you cross the director of Ferris Bueller's Day Off as the writer, and the director of Crocodile Dundee as the director? You get a movie that is the butt of a couple of jokes on Married.. With Children called Dutch. This is one of the weaker scripts written by John Hughes. It's dark at times, in fact, not even The Breakfast Club would be this dark. I'm sure the late Hughes has tried his best to make a variation of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, but ultimately, he failed. Not exactly the worst movie I've ever seen, since the fireworks scene is the highest point of the film, but I have no interest in seeing this again.
