No Grand Finale

Two for the Money had all the excitement and suspense of a Fourth of July fireworks event lacking a grand finale. The suspenseful buildup left little more than a fizzle by the film's end, leaving as always another happy Hollywood ending. Al Pacino is Al Pacino at his best, but Matthew McConaughey's character transition from Brandon Lang to John Anthony and back is pure talent. The film will engage and keep your interest throughout, but don't read into and expect more than you see.
