The author tells the story in great and vivid detail, which makes you go through all of the emotions that the characters are feeling. You feel for the characters, and feel your heart screaming out to help them, and to help them see the light of their actions. There are so many great lessons to be learned in this story, from teenage pregnancy, poverty, and both the good and bad sides of society. Everyone can take a small lesson from this book. It is a real page turner!"
