Disappointed

Whenever I tell someone that I read Dick, I get two responses, "Who is that?" and "You should read Ubik". With that kind of buildup I don't know if any book could have lived up to the hype, but Ubik was definitely disappointing. The twists were fun but not enough. One of his better books but definitely not his best.
