Oh boy! It must be one of the most disappointing movies I have ever seen…. I mean, I always liked ‘Seinfeld’ the TV show and I was really wondering what Jerry Seinfeld would do next. Eventually, I heard he was working on an animated feature, so I got really excited. Indeed, I thought it was a really original idea and I thought it could have been a great mix, to blend Seinfeld’s humor with some gorgeous animation provided by Dreamworks, one of the best animation studio. Unfortunately, like I said before, the whole thing was eventually terribly disappointing. I remember it perfectly, I even went to see this in the theater with my wife and my step-kids. I’m pretty sure the kids had a good time watching this but I thought it was terribly tedious . The plot was just terribly pedestrian and boring and I didn’t care about the characters at all. It felt like a very poor version of ‘Antz’ and, honestly, I was rather pissed after this. I mean, we don’t hear anymore from Seinfeld and he only comes up with?!? To be honest, I think it might enjoyable for young kids but I haven’t met one grown-up who actually enjoyed it, honestly. To conclude, even though the animation was not bad (Dreamworks doesn’t make ugly movies), I thought that the whole thing was actually terribly boring and it don’t think it is a really worth a look, expect maybe if you have some young children.
