Review of Hillbilly Elegy: A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis

Really good story and an interesting read ... for a while. I enjoyed learning about how J.D. Vance grew up. The challenges he faced were heart breaking. That he has risen to his current level of success is a lesson in courage and perseverance. However I did put the book down before finishing. The same point was repeated ad nauseam.
