Just got back from seeing this wild ride of a movie (at the IMAX in Indianapolis, no less). I don't know how many movies I've seen in my life on VHS/DVD/big screen/ small screens/drive-in theaters, but after all these years, Digger is like nothing I've ever seen. I won't elaborate, but if you can see it on the big screen before it goes away, you owe it to yourself. It seems that the critics are out of their minds, and it makes me wonder if someone got to them. We hear critics (and audience members) complain about Hollywood being unoriginal, and then when something like this stunning storytelling masterpiece hits theatres, they go "meh." Shame on them.
I predict that when this starts streaming, it will have a second life and people will find it and LOVE it. As a fan of movies, I wish more people would have a chance to see it as it is meant to be seen. If you are able and it's still playing, go see Digger. What's more, go in COLD. Don't let anyone spoil this for you.
