Review of Hive

My little niece loves staying over our house on the weekends and she was pestering me about watching the new HIVE movie on tubi when it came out that many of her schoolmates were talking about. I looked it up and noticed Xochitl Gomez is in it. She is awesome! I love her to death. So we watched. For those jaded gatekeeping snobs of horror out there that live for gore and nothing else, you will not care for this movie. You are not the target audience. This is a definite beginner horror movie for little kids. Just be glad that there's a younger generation starting into horror. We loved that our protagonist and her brother are Hispanic and we love that the hero is a woman. I know there is a group of toxic narcissistic "alpha" men out there that hate women so this movie isn't for them either. This is a fun movie and I highly recommend it for kids to watch in the Halloween season but also on any Fri. or Sat. night with friends, family or both. Fans of Xochitl Gomez should love this too, she is extremely easy on the eyes.
