Real guy was more interesting, but good enough

There is no mention of him being a spy for the Nazis early on, and in fact he seems to gather favor with the Abwehr purely with is charisma and pretend wealth, so is not that close to the real Schindler, which I think is a pity because that would have given him more grayness to the character as presented in the beginning, to make even stronger his defiance of the Nazis.

But, we got what we got and I think is a pretty good character. Oskar is an opportunist, just using the war to get cheap labor and get rich, not really caring much about anything else, but slowly and after witnessing the brutalities of his people, the consequences of hatred and dehumanization as policy, all represented by the girl in the red coat, the only color there is, the human in him awakens. The charisma and confidence that he uses to get away with his shit at the beginning is later turn into the magical word that saves many lives. The silver tongue that claims everybody is fucking essential, the young and the sick. Words and bribery are the key to the kingdom. But they can’t change Göth, that guy is fucking crazy XD Not even his own people liked him.

Played very well by the great Liam Neeson, Oskar Schindler has great compassion inside of him, a flawed human being, a cheater, but with more good than bad, that uses all the money he made by exploiting the situation, to save the people he used for that purpose. The final speech, great and iconic as it his, pushed him thought the final line and make me gave him an 8.

I'll say is say is a great character. I can’t review the movie really, is mostly him that makes it good. Amon is fun but, you know, kinda cliché by now.

It would had been nice to see more of him early on too, especially with how long the film is and those parallels shots that are mostly just to look cool. Because Amon started thriving by being a murderous cunt in a time when that was needed, but later on that got him in some trouble with the party, plus and mostly his corruption. He falls for being the same and Oskar does better at least morally by changing and also he stays alive XD But anyway, I said no movie review.

That’s it.
