Review of Ultraviolet

The script is stifling and dull, dragged out and uninteresting. The philosophy is also about nothing and doesn’t evolve at all, or maybe it’s just poorly conveyed. Many moments are unclear (in the Russian dub it’s even hard at times to hear what’s being said when two voices speak at once).
As for the fancy shootouts — very beautiful and intricate, the author’s imagination really didn’t fail here: zooming in from the eye into the glasses, then into another eye, into other glasses, onto the trigger — and BAM BAM BAM!!! He shoots himself like a silly pony)))
Even the enemies praise the heroine and, mesmerized by her grace, fall dead in a perfect circle around her.
