Review of The Blue Rose

A ludicrously misguided attempt to imitate the maestro David Lynch. Beautiful decor, beautiful women and beautiful costumes does not equate to art. The film even tries to defend its style over substance from within when a character utters "some art is meant to be appreciated, not understood." Indeed. The problem is, I understood this and didn't appreciate it one bit.
