An average movie

I would watch anything starring Anthony Hopkins and he is the main reason why I wanted to check this flick. On the other hand, I wasn't really excited by Cuba Gooding Jr . Indeed, he started out as a promising young actor, became an Academy award winner but then spent a good chunk of the last 10 years ruining his career. Eventually, it turned out to be a rather disappointing flick which maybe was not as bad as the usual movies starring Cuba Gooding Jr. but unfortunately, it was also far from being as good as the usual movies starring Anthony Hopkins. I mean, Hopkins gave a solid performance but Gooding was not really convincing as a pyschiatrist and, above all, I thought it was just a preposterous thriller going for the cheap thrills. There is nothing more annoying than a movie which tries to sound intelligent but actually doesn't give a damned about being accurate and just tries to entertain with some dumb action stuff and thriller elements. To conclude, even though the original concept was actually interesting, it remains an average and disappointing flick and it is not really worth a look, even if you are interested in Hopkins' work.
