An average movie

Before writing this review, I was rather surprised to see that the ratings were so low here on Listal. I mean, of course, it was nothing great but I don't recall that it was that bad. Maybe it is because I had some really low expectations beforehand but, still, there were a few funny things. For example, I thought that Ben Affleck was really funny and stole the show everytime he was on the screen, Luke Wilson was pretty good too, even though he gave his usual clueless goofy act and Denise Richards was charming and not as obnoxious like for example in 'You stupid man'. Of course, the plot is kind of stupid and it follows too much the whole romantic-comedy formula but I did enjoy the whole betting thing which I thought was pretty funny. I don't know, maybe I was in a good mood, or maybe I was desperate when I watched it but I thought it was not that bad. To conclude, maybe I kind of lost it and it is actually really bad like everyone seems to think here, or maybe it is a decent romantic-comedy, no more and no less and, in this case, it may be worth a look. Anyway, watch it at your own risk...
