Good book if you can get past the author

I think a lot of people may not like this books because of the author's tone: it is like a know-it-all grandparent talking down to a child. The author's air of superiority can be tough to get through.
However, the underlying ideas, logic, author's experience presented the book was quite good. The author's approach is a very modern approach to the markets and risk.
