Kokoro is a female character that first appeared in Dead or Alive 4. Considered both a sweet and polite character, Kokoro was born to Miyako and Fame Douglas as an illegitimate daughter. This makes her the half-sister of Helena Douglas. Characterized as well-mannered and well-spoken, Kokoro is an extremely merciful and gentle woman, with a hospitable nature that even extends to the fighting ring. She is also quite calm, cool, and collected with the ability to maintain her composure in the most heated of situations. In spite of this, she continues to have a short temper in certain occasions, with a propensity towards sudden outbursts when pushed too far.

Powers and Abilities

In spite of her gentle and sweet nature, Kokoro is actually a formidable opponent in the Dead or Alive series due to her natural abilities in the baji quan fighting style. This style incorporates a variety of kicks (both low and high), along with a series of powerful elbow strikes to provide maximum (and rapid) damage to opponents. Combined with her unbreakable “chain throw,” she is a highly-efficient fighter that is well-suited for a variety of gamers. Nevertheless, one of her primary weaknesses involves the fact that her moves are incredibly easy to counter by opponents, as her style requires closer attacks making her prone to takedowns by characters with strong holds.

Appearance

In contrast to many of the characters appearing in the Dead or Alive series, Kokoro is perhaps one of the most feminine and “girly” women in the game. Nevertheless, she is a remarkably sexy woman known for her long black hair, gray eyes, pale skin, and seductive lips. And while her traditional outfit consists of a pink kimono that provides extensive coverage to her athletic and toned body, Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 provided an unparalleled look at her curvaceous frame through the “sweet cherry” bikini. Aside from a large bust, Kokoro is also quite athletic with a slim frame, and wide hips. For these reasons, she is easily one of the sexiest characters to appear in the Dead or Alive series; a feat that will likely remain for the foreseeable future.
