A very good movie

Bertrand Blier is not really famous here on Listal but he is actually one of the best French directors, at least, he is among my favorites. It is must be one of his weirdest movies and it is basically one of those surrealist comedies like 'After Hours' by Scorsese. Usually, I'm not really a fan of this genre but I really liked this one. Indeed, there is a really good cast (Gérard Depardieu, Jean Carmet, Bernard Blier (the director's father), Carole Bouquet, Michel Serrault) and they all gave some very good performances. I especially enjoyed Depardieu who was just awesome here. He keeps meeting some weird characters throughout the night and the whole thing was just really fun to watch but also not completely stupid like most of the American comedies you get to watch nowadays. To conclude, it is a very good comedy and it is definitely worth a look, especially if you are interested in French movies.
