Man, people really glossed over the whole slavery thing once a cute anime girl resulted from it.

Raphtalia had the ideal moe character development, going from a child who Naofumi takes care of to an adult that can take care of Naofumi.

But she still kept a great deal of her childlike behavior. So now not only is she cute, but she’s also deadly and reliable. Nice combo.

And when Filo comes into the picture we can see her more flirtatious and mature side.
