Review of Zakliata jaskyna

The original Slovak fairy tale The Cursed Cave ( ZAKLIATA JASKYŇA ) takes you back to the times of myths and legends. Deep in the royal forest was a cave that provided people with livelihoods for centuries and brought prosperity to the kingdom. One day, Buchwald found the entrance to the cave sealed. Where there used to be a door, there is suddenly a bare rock.

Director Mariana Čengel Solčanská tells the story of hope, but also of human greed, through the central female character,the brave Ada, Buchwald's daughter. She must find her lost sister and free her unjustly imprisoned father. While Ada fights for her family, brothers Zach and Cyril compete for the royal throne. Their stepmother Berta becomes the queen.
