Wow... Ok, quick summary. These filmmakers were making a documentary on Hugo Chavez and his new populist government in Venezuela, when during filming, the attempted overthrow of Chavez took place, led by media elite in Venezuela, Oil tycoons, and CIA. So unknowingly, this now became a documentary not just about Chavez, but also about the overthrow of a government, and subsequent media cover-up, and then a few days later, the people revolted and helped by the military guards, Chavez was returned to power.
Anyone who has typical views of Chavez as a dictator and how he's a commie and a terrorist supporter needs to view this documentary. There are no 'opinions' given, its just a straight plain documentary, with interviews from all sorts of people, from President Chavez, down to the people in the slums, and the rich elite in the upper class parts of venezuela. And come to your own conclusion as to the events that happpened during the attempted overthrow of Chavez, and once it happens again (and believe me, it will), you will be better informed on the REAL reasons behind it, and what a true democracy looks like.
