Review of The Batman

The best Batman movie IMO. Not good enough yet. I love that Batman is not a killer in this movie. And he uses his brain in it. Great use of side characters like Selina Kyle, Jim Gordon and the villains Penguin and the Riddler too. Though I thought there was a problem with the pacing where every scene took longer than it should have. Which made the film feel too slow and also ended up making it last longer than it needed to. The villain plan also is good until the last twist when RIddler is in jail and Bruce visits him, where it seems like Reeves thought the movie needed a last action scene and it doesn't work as well as everything that came before it. Performances are also good, as are action scenes, albeit too dark. I can only like this movie because it's Bruce in the beginning of his career. I want sequels with a more seasoned Bruce that uses more grappling gun and batarangs. I also wished his face mask had eyes covered in white but I know that will unfortunately never happen.
