Review of Mondo Cane

I have watched parts of the movie by fast-forwarding through boring parts or parts hard to watch. So I did not think it was that lurid and was a bit overhyped. The question I have most for any movie of anyone tormenting themselves is doesn't it hurt? Maybe they like feeling pain but how does that happen.?Oh, some parts are silly more than shocking.
