It is a rather unknown boxe flick but since there was a decent cast, I still though I should check it out. Eventually, I thought it was not bad at all. First of all, there was indeed a nice cast (Samuel L. Jackson, Jeff Goldblum, Peter Berg, John Rhys-Davies, Jamie Foxx) and they all gave some rather decent performances. Basically, it is a dark satire on the boxing world and I thought it was actually pretty interesting. The main issue, I thought, is that they didn't take the material really seriously enough as they were just interested to provide some quick and shallow laughs. It's too bad since the whole thing had actually some potential and, in my opinion, they should have kept the satire which was a good idea but they should have make it even darker and get rid off of most of the stupid jokes. Still, even though it is rather flawed, it remains a decent and entertaining satire and it is definitely worth a look, especially if you like the genre.
