Nowadays, I have Netflix and Popcorn and not only I have since then an endless selection of movies to choose from but, as a result, I have become slightly more picky regarding the movies I watch. Before, I used to watch pretty much anything as long as it was starring one or two actors I was interested in and, as a result, I would sometimes end up watching some really obscure features. This movie was a perfect example. First of all, do you know what is worse than a Christmas movie? A bad Christmas movie... I mean, I'm not a big fan of Matthew Broderick so I wasn't expecting much but since it was starring Danny DeVito, I thought the damned thing might still be fun. Unfortunately, it turned out to be just seriously boring with only a very few decent jokes along the way. From the start, it was a very lame concept, and after 5 minutes, I already had enough but I'm the kind of viewer who would watch a movie until the end, no matter what. It is not that the jokes were bad but they were just not funny and the story was just too predictable. Furthermore, the 2 main characters were not funny or interesting and were in fact rather obnoxious. To conclude, even though I really like Danny DeVito, even him couldn't manage to save this flick, it was just a really boring comedy and it is not worth a look whatsoever.
