Review of We Need to Talk About Kevin

SPOILERS:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              honestly amazing. the sound design, the cinematography, the acting were all so convincing and personal. every detail felt extremely intimate. it was quite infuriating how everyone blamed the mom, like she literally had no part in it so why is everyone calling her a killer? and how blind and in denial the dad was, how he literally never listened to his wife was beyond frustrating. i am wondering if the mom ever said anything about finding the guinea pig as well. an amazing portrayal of the guilt of a parent who's child does something like this, as more and more parents and families have to deal with this situation. overall it was fantastic and left an almost hollow feeling in my chest.
