An average movie

I have never heard of this movie before but since it was starring Robin Williams, I thought I could give it a try. I must say it was rather interesting to see Robin Williams doing something different for a change and the story was not bad at all but I can't say it was really mindblowing. The first issue is that it is obviously really similar to 'Life is beautiful' but it never reaches the level of this great movie. Since it is a actually a remake, I really wonder how is the original version. Anyway, I don't think Robin Williams should be blamed since he delivered a decent performance. Even though the story was actually not bad at all, it was just not intriguing enough. I mean, it was too straightforward and predictable for my taste. To conclude, it remains a decent WWII drama and it is definitely worth look, especially if you are interested in Robin Williams' work.
