An average movie

Following her disastrous turn in 'Glitter' (which I haven't seen yet), Mariah Carey showed up in this rather unknown and forgotten flick. The main reason I watched it was not, in fact, Mariah Carey herself but I watched it above all for Mira Sorvino, even though she is unfortunately way past her prime. First of all, even though it is of no real importance, I thought it was a really lame title which doesn't really give you the feeling that you should watch this flick. Still, surprisingly, I thought that Carey was not bad at all. I mean, she wasn't mind-blowing either but her performance was decent enough, even the best performance in this movie. Unfortunately, it was a rather unoriginal and pedestrian plot and I didn't care about the characters and what they were going through. To conclude, even though it is not really bad, even though it seems much better than 'Glitter', it is still pretty average and eventually not realy worth, only maybe for the die-hard fans of Mariah Carey.
