An average movie

Way before 'The Avengers', there was another movie concerning another team of super-heros. The advantage with the Fantastic Four is that the team is rather small and all the characters can be (or should be...) properly developped since there is more time for all of them. Unfortunately, it was nothing great... I mean, all 4 characters are pretty cool but none of the actors (Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans, Michael Chiklis) were really convincing. Eventually, Chris Evans would provide, 7 years later, a much more interesting performance with Captain America. Above all, the plot was just really pedestrian and honestly rather boring. Indeed, we are far from the grittiness of Christopher Nolan and it almost feel like a kids flick. To conclude, it is not really bad actually but it is still among the less interesting super-hero flicks out there and it is not really worth a look, except maybe if you are a huge fan of the genre.
