Interesting, but cringeworthy

I am a Trump supporter but I still read this book for 2 reasons...1 being that from time to time I like to read or listen to the opposition because it's good to keep your mind open and 2 being that I'm fascinated with all things Trump White House. Firstly the book is written in an easy to comprehend way and doesn't go on for long pointless paragraphs at a time with words nobody understands. Either Omarosa or her ghostwriter (whichever you believe) wrote clear and concise. That being said, while I believe a few things she wrote about I can't help but feel this book is nothing but an opportunistic batch of sour grapes. She contradicts herself all the time, saying she joined his campaign because she didn't believe he'd win. But then keeps referring to him as "my candidate". I think she was caught up in the rush and seeing how she said her comfort place was Hollywood, it excited her to be a part of something huge. She is a very arrogant person, saying that people always take a photo or video when she enters a room... Okay...? She used her relationship with Trump to get a higher job. Reince didn't want her for OPL, but she shrewdly played him to give her that job. She said she was trying to bring in more diversity to his team, and only fielded resumes from people of color which is just preposterous. She complained of not having enough time to get her work done, yet demanded to be a personal assistant to Trump along with her other job because... You guessed it! Diversity! Oh and him meeting with black "celebs" like Kanye and Steve Harvey wasn't good enough for her. Even though they have bigger platforms to get the message across. She made excuses for why she stayed with him. If he was so horrible and she had any morals, she'd have left. But she doesn't have morals. This just reeks of being pissed that she didn't get the job she wanted within the WH. I don't recommend this book to anyone.
