An average movie

I wasn't expecting much from the damned thing but, since it was available on Netflix, I thought I might as well check it out. Well, eventually, it turned to be even weaker than I expected, I'm afraid.ย To be honest,ย I have to admit that I actually did like the intro with these two old friends getting back together after all these years. Unfortunately, pretty much everything else happening afterwards was just some total garbage. Above all, I was just amazed by how completely random the story was. Seriously, it seems that Sandler is becoming lazier with each movie. I mean, here, his character was switching agenda every 5 minutes, being a FBI agent, then a coroner, then a school counselor and finally a victim of cancer. Seriously, by the end, I still didn't know who the hell this guy was supposed to be. And to throw the ultimate cure for cancer in the mix was just borderline offensive. At least, Paula Parton did look gorgeous as usual but it is just so sad to see her wasting her potential with such pathetic acting gigs. Anyway, to conclude, even it wasn't the worst movie delivered by Sandler so far, I still think I was actually generous with my rating here and you should pretty much avoid the damned thing.ย
